Accessibility
Last updated: September 30, 2026
We want everyone in Rosemead, including people with disabilities, to be able to learn about Steven Ly, contact the campaign and take part in the election. We are working to make this website accessible to all visitors.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites.
What we’ve done
- Meaningful images have text descriptions. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages use a clear heading structure, so screen reader users can move through them easily.
- Menus, links, buttons and forms can be used with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- Every form field has a label that is read aloud by screen readers.
- The site follows your device’s “reduce motion” setting and turns off movement effects.
- Pages adjust to phones, tablets and computers, and they keep working when you zoom in.
- We check color contrast as we design and update the site.
Known limitations
- Some pages we link to are run by other organizations, including our contribution provider and California’s voter registration site. We can’t control how accessible those sites are.
- The website is available in English and Spanish. We are working on versions in other languages.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please let us know. Tell us which page you were on and what happened, and we’ll do our best to help. We aim to respond within five business days.
